Office Check-in Protocol

At WAG, we are so thankful for our client's patience and support as we care for yours and other pets. For this reason, we have the following protocols in place for everyone’s comfort and safety:

  • When you arrive for your appointment please call us from outside the office away from the door or from inside your car. We will let the provider know that you have arrived and when they are available, they will contact you to discuss your pet's history. If you arrive by foot please still call to check in for your appointment as your provider will obtain patient history prior to retrieving your pet.

  • If this is your first visit to WAG, we look forward to welcoming you inside into the office to learn what your pet will be doing when they come back to WAG for their future visits.

  • For subsequent visits we have found that our pets focus best when they don't have to worry about their people. We will ask that pets come in for their first revisit on their own. In unique situations, we may find a pet does better with their person--as such we evaluate each individual patient and will tailor the protocol as best suits the pet.

  • We are able to send pictures via text/email of your pet receiving treatment and can check in during the appointment if you have any questions.

We use this procedure to ensure we minimize pet’s stress and keep both patients and providers safe as we check patients in and out from our offices.
